Always fantastic service, always. A very accommodating atmosphere in a rustic style lodge, but with all of the modern day amenities. Great food and a great place to be with friends!
The front desk people were very kind and nice. The rooms were spacious and I loved the theme. There were birds chirping over the speakers in the hallways which was nice but if you don't like too much nature, you might get annoyed with it.
I was hired as the wedding coordinator for a wedding/reception at the Heathman Lodge last weekend. The staff at the Heathman greatly exceeded my expectations. They set up the rooms and my clients were able to use the space for their rehearsal and then stay to decorate. I have been involved in weddings, conventions and other events for over a decade and often weddings in a hotel look like a corporate event. Once we got the room decorated, the staff assisted me in getting the lighting just right for both the ceremony and reception. I couldn't be more thrilled how efficient the crew transitioned the 2 spaces from the ceremony to the reception while guests enjoyed a cocktail just outside the doors. Throughout the entire day, the staff was easily called and responded kindly every time no matter how big or small the request was.
Join their loyalty program! I breeze by the front desk when I check in and they just hand me my keys. It is wonderful!
I stay at the Heathman Lodge quite often. It is, by far, the best hotel in Vancouver and one of the best in the Portland area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful (thank you Angie, Brian, Marcie, Julia, Cody and everyone else at the front desk whose names I don’t know! ). The rooms are incredibly appointed. Every room makes you feel as if you are in a ski lodge. If I have any advice it is: stay on the 4th floor! It is not much more expensive and you get free breakfast and an equivalent to dinner in the evening. And don’t even get me started on Hudson’s! Everything on the menu is amazing. By far the best food I’ve ever had in Vancouver. Some people have complained about the slow service, but I contribute that to the fact that they are always, always packed because they’re so popular. Even if you have to wait a bit, it is worth it!
Great service- free coffee, hot chocolate, and tea all day long. Noise policy is pretty strict, after one warning the hotel will call the police. Besides that, the service was excellent, the front desk workers smiled and were happy, the rooms were clean and organized.
