The wait staff were polite, appropriately attentive and cheerful. The steaks - of course we ordered steaks - were done just the way we ordered. They were juicy and tender and very flavorful. The server never forgot to call us by name and was helpful. Great place to eat!
The rest of the food was ok. The average 3 star rating is well deserved.
I ordered a gluten free meal. When the waitress brought out the salad, she said "gluten free salad". But then i noticed the two croutons left behind, along with all the crumbs from the other croutons that she had pulled off.
Instead of wasting your money here you should take it to Black Angus Steakhouse where it might be ugly as hell but at least you will get a properly cooked steak, decent sides and all at a very comparable.
If it wasn’t for our EXCELLENT server this would be a 1-star rating because my food & drink was mediocre at best. My vodka beverage was mostly water and so I settled for a beer. My meal was not as warm as it should have been. The filet mignon was not warm enough to have melted the garlic butter on top nor was the mashed potatoes warm enough and the Caesar salad was soaked in dressing so I couldn’t eat it. Would I return??? Not unless I had good enough company. I’ll probably order a burger if I do ever go back. It should be easier to cook and hopefully more appetizing. And I’d ask for a Caesar salad with the dressing on the side. Lesson learned.
Otherwise the food was pretty good.
You know it's bad when restaurant people feel the need to write a review to warn people.
First of all, our waiter was great. Our food, not so much. First, my salad had two hairs in it. One was sitting on a cut cherry tomato. It seemed rushed and disorganized even when you walked in. Like something had gone wrong. Anyway, my husband's food was so cold the garlic butter had not even melted on it. So here he was with a steak smeared with solid butter. Then, the ticket did not print for my son's food so my husband and I were nearly done eating by the time our son's food arrived. We of course shared with him so he didn't go hungry. If I'm paying $26 for a steak, at least serve it warm. He ordered it medium so that wasn't the issue. It was like our food was cooked at vastly different times. Not sure I'll be going back.
For 1 it took us 2 hours to get food. 1 hour waiting in the lobby (we were told 15 to 20 minutes wait and would had left if we knew it would be longer) then another hour to get food that was mediocre at best. 2 The worst part was that after that 2 hours of waiting for food and our kids losing their minds because they are hungry (and yes we got apps to hold them over) my husband's medium rare steak was well done. We were done eating by the time they brought his boxed up steak out.
Our server was fine and knew we were not happy but it wasn't his fault.
