We sat at the bar, ordered one beer each. We always tip for good service, but since it was just pour us a beer and go, no tip. Checking our credit card statement, the server tagged on her own tip! This isn't the first time the staff has tried to get more money. They've added extra drinks and/or food on our bill other times we've visited, so when we checked it over before paying, we've had to point out extra charges EVERY time. We're done with the Garage and its greedy and cheating staff.
Food was good. While the service was friendly, it was slow. They only had 1 person serving and it was crowded. Overall, we had a great breakfast and it's nice having something close by in Fruit Valley.
Made my partner forget all about how his motorcycle died at Frenchman's Bar and we had to go manhandle it onto the pickup to get it home. Stopping at "The Garage" made it all worthwhile.
Great burgers and beer selection. Lots of seating inside and out. Really friendly servers. Nice place for lunch.
