My standard eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast was served up fast and tasted great! If you like your hashbrowns crispy, you may have to ask for that. Mine were cooked but could have been a touch crispier (my personal preference). But dang, they've been in business since 1932, in this same location, and are clearly doing something right!
Was looking for a home style meal that muy mom would make the morning while mourning the loss off her the day before and found myself Joe's. They provided me the best Strawberries and Whipped Cream French Toast minus the love and care of a great mother preparing them. I will miss you mom but will not miss another opportunity to eat at Joe's again. Thanks for all your sympathy and condolences and closest to homemade meal ever.
Joe's has always been my favorite place to go, so this review is based on my most recent visit. I ordered the chicken fried steak and the eggs were done to perfection, but the sausage in the gravy was a pink color which was a total put off. I had to scrape it off, I couldn't eat it. My hashbrowns were just starting to get browned when they took them off so they were a pale yellow in color....another put off. This was not their usual quality, so maybe this was an off day. I sure hope so. Also had to remind the server for our toast, and then when it was time to pay, we put $100 bill on top of our check, but after waiting several minutes, scrounged up the amount (dollars and change) to pay in cash but didn't have enough left for a tip. Maybe they were short handed that day......stuff happens.
Excellent service and even better food. Breakfast or lunch...everything is so good! Super friendly too.
Small little diner off of Main St.
Super quick and extremely friendly service. I LOVED that it is a local spot that regulars can enjoy and connect with local businesses. The food was good and more than enough to chow down on. I am visiting from MD and will totally come back next time I'm on this coast!
