Showed up with a moving truck that I drove across the country. Gentleman told me they had leased the unit I had reserved the week before and didn't have another good option. I even showed him the e-mail he had sent me showing that he would hold it. He did call around and found a cheaper place. I was still unsatisfied with how the situation was handled. They need a better reservation system.
Having been renting from your facility at 108 NW 139th St. for the past seven and one half years, I have only praise for the former and current management! Your current manager, Dax Tucker, has helped me immeasurably many times in a variety of ways....always with impeccable courtesy and caring. In addition, the units (3) were always clean and the spaces/halls were well-lit and the area encompassing the entire facility was always spotless. Also, your prices were below others in the area.
We have been renting here for a long time. We have had some issues that we wouldn't necessarily blame the company for but we have also had damage due to water. The guy who works there was great and came out right then to patch the leak until we could get someone in to fix it. The leak started again and was bigger before we got it fixed. We had a cedar lined hope chest we have to dispose of, a telephone, and a sterio. Now rent is going up again and we will have to find somewhere else to rent.
This is the second time we have used America's Self Storage at Salmon Creek and the second experience was as good as the first. Units are clean, staff is pleasant and helpful, and the space feels safe when entering and leaving. The gate and codes are convenient and a staff person is available to help with any issues. I hope I never have to move again but would use this facility again if the need arose.
