This school is OK. Learning-wise it's on-par and most teachers are good and you can tell they're really trying to do their job well, with only a few exceptions. Some people are saying that teachers are racist, which is completely untrue from what I've heard and seen. Also, you don't call a teacher "pretty homophobic." That's not how you use that word. The real problem is with the kids, which I understand staff can't really fix, but they still suck. But seriously, bullying: HUGE PROBLEM. Staff do not take it seriously at all.
Some teachers and staff are really awesome, but a lot are just rude. There is a lot of bullying, specifically homophobic and racist insults. The education is pretty average. The school is pretty dumpy, but it isn't terrible. Overall, not a fun environment, but average quality education.
I have to say this school sucks, but not all the way, there are a lot of great teachers here! Namely Mrs. Stroebel, Mrs. Brosius (4 U Orchestra lovers out there!), Mr. Warden (For a different teaching experience but is very strict), Mr. Katain, Mrs. Boyter, Ms. Moody, Ms. Mac, Mr.Davis, and Mrs. Estep. The school isn't actually that bad, but the kids are the ones who make it a 3 star to me. Even though it makes you mad when you can't do something, you should just stick to the rules and you'll do fine with the staff. The kids on the other hand, watch out!!! There was even a trashcan fire a couple days ago in the boy's bathroom by the gym while I was in PE! If you are staff, then you did your best...
I went here for a few years. If you want your kid at a good school look somewhere else
