This place is perfect for kids! My son asks to go here a few times a week. Lots of things to keep them occupied for a while. Perfect for rainy days!

This is the best library I have ever had the pleasure of visiting.
Its a nice building with a very good selection of books and a friendly staff. That said, there are homeless people everywhere (there was an absolutely rank smelling dude who was camped out in the handicap stall of the 1st floor men's room on my last visit. I don't know what he was doing in there, but he was at it for 3 hours at least). People also like to smoke weed in the elevators, so there's that...
This place is amazing! It is completely modern with cement floors and walls and is huge! It also has very modern eco green landscaping on the outside. In addition, the staff is very friendly and helpful-especially on the 4th floor. You also don't have to worry about finding a place to park like you would in downtown Portland.
This is a beautiful library inside and outside! There's a nice coffee shop on the main level next to the magazines and newspaper which is perfect! The children's section on the upper level is simply amazing - So much for kids to do and explore! And there floor to ceiling windows are great for good light and to check out the city. There's a couple table to eat at- bring lunch a make a day of the library!
