Absolutely LOVE coming here! I find everything I need and then some. Good prices, friendly staff (who actually give you personal space unlike a lot of other in-town stores) and a GREAT selection.
Wonderful & knowledgeable staff. Will go or of their way to help you identify the specific recipe ingredient you are looking for and make suggestions about quality or cultural preference between specific packaging. For instance, I was looking for Wood ear mushrooms, which often come in dried form. However, the package says Black Fungus. The older gentleman was able to confirm that this was, in fact, the mushroom I was looking for. Thank you! You made my Hot n Sour Soup like the ones at restaurants!
Sorya has an excellent selection of food items. Just about anything from the Asian culture that you could seek there is a fair chance that Sorya will have it. It is also very nice that they allow food stamps for purchases. And it goes without saying their bao's are amazing and always kept hot.
